decided to meet back up with the BBK's - I've been getting up early on Tuesdays anyway, so why not get a 'workout' in? 3 miles warm-up with the group 9:23 AP (funny, because we were running sub 9's and the leader looked at her watch and came almost to a halt "we need to slow down" - it's nice to have someone regulating pace for you!) 7 mile progressive run out and back. Goal was to hit 30 sec/mile faster by the finish. Since all the BBK's had raced Saturday I had the upper hand :) nice to lead the group instead of drag behind. Finished quite well, and surprise of all surprises, even kept my tempo going the 2nd half which was the uphill portion! Nice. 8:59, 8:23, 8:19, 8:24, 8:04, 7:53, 7:55. 1 mile cool down with the group 9:04 came home and took Lucy out for a quick jaunt to placate her today 8:30 AP for the finishing 9 miles 8:24 Now I'm off to spin class and mom and me aerobics/swim class.
